"React Now Music + Relief"

2:45 am - just about the end of hour three of the rebroadcast of the television benefit program (called "React Now") for the people hurt by Hurricane Katrina.

I have been very affected by the disasters that happened to the US Gulf Coast:
1) the hurricane and 2) the criminally slow disorganized response to it.

I've had this recurring thought for several days now: Mardi Gras 2006 in New Orleans' French Quarter.

So my "React Now" action is to ask: let's all hold that vision so that it can happen. Then we can all go to it.

I see we have _Locke as a friend in common. I was just wondering what made you decide to friend me. I don't mind at all, I have an open LJ for a reason, I'm just always curious about why people friend certain people....TA
